Name: Sun's Leo of Barrington AcresSex: Male
Breed: ISSR Shiloh Shepherd
Born: July 1, 2005 in Ellington, Ct.
Now Residing In: Barrington Hills, IL

Here's a story about an ISSR Shiloh Shepherd named Sun's Leo of Barrington Acres, a.k.a. Leo... a.k.a "Leo the Lip". Leo flew all the way from Sun Devil's Kennel in Ellington, CT to Barrington, IL and fell into the arms of three loving children, along with a mom and dad. We can only hope that everyone out there be as lucky to own your own personal huggable teddy bear, a.k.a. an 'ISSR Shiloh Shephed'.
I suppose I should start from the beginning and where Leo came from. His Dam is "Zion's Sun Devil"

Sunny (a.k.a. Zion's Sun Devil)

You can read more about Sunny here...

Sunny came from the ORIGINAL SHILOH SHEPHERD Kennel:
"New Zion Shilohs"

Leo's Sire was also a New Zion Shiloh, which was then purchased by another kennel called Abba Shilohs. Leo's Sire is "Abba's Nicodemous of Zion" and you can read more about him and Abba Shiloh Kennel here ...

More about my Pup: He is a very well behaved little man. He does however, have his fits, just like most adolescents. He will however be the first to come to me when he knows he's done something wrong. He loves to take baths and showers. He has been proclaimed the "Water dog" as he will do just about anything to get his paws in water. Whether it be to just lie there with one paw dipped in and sleeping, or voraciously attacking a pool or a bath tub filled with water.

Here he sits at 11 Weeks and stares contently at me, wondering when he is going to get into that tub.
Here is Sir Leo The Lip Chewing on his Tug-O-War Rope!
People! If Looks Could Kill! Oh So Innocent Looking Isn't He?
Now, for a Blast From the Past... Some Pictures of him (courtesy of Sun Devil's Kennel) - thank you Katy . . .

**The Long Ride Home**
Leo Came Home To Barrington Hills On August 28, 2005. I didn't know what to expect, but let me tell you. If you are the lucky person to save these poor dogs from the Kennel upon their arrival, you will be their friends for life. :) You'd be amazed at the eye contact they give you, and their listening capability is far greater than that of a normal german sheperd dog. PLEASE! Whatever you do.. Do your research! Don't be fooled by people who tell you that they have a Shiloh, because once you click on the link below, you will need not go any further.
The TRUE Shiloh Shepherd Breed only comes from This Place here.

To learn more, just keep clicking and you can really learn a lot about these dogs. If you don't learn anything else from this . . . you will certainly learn that this breed is NOT a German Shepherd. Structure and Temperament Surely Makes A Great Difference.
Thanks for visiting. Hopefully I can keep this up to date as time goes by.
Enjoy :)

Boy, does this boy ever love his Greenies. He is now 12 weeks old.
And is he ever growing like a WEED!
Just Look @ That Intent Look On This Face! He Knows When He's Being Talked About, and He knows when he's done wrong!
He's looking up at the sky because he saw a bird, however, I thought this pose was just the best. How observant can a dog really be you ask? Well, just take a look!
